Greece in Europe’s top-5 in 5G availability

Ookla places Greece in the top five European countries as regards the availability of 5G services. In detail, the availability of 5G in Greece reaches 37.3% of the population, while in more developed economies such as France and Germany, the availability is at 21% and 19.2% respectively.

Ookla comments that the Nordic countries and some Eastern and Southern European countries are outperforming the continent’s big five economies and that telecom providers are calling for, among other things, regulatory interventions to facilitate investment in 5G networks.
