5G Observatory: 5G expanding in Europe, Greece on top of spectrum band allocation

At the end of March 2021, 5G commercial services were available in twenty-four of the EU-27 countries, IDATE notes in its April 2021 update for the 5G Observatory, adding that at the end of 2020, only three Member States had assigned spectrum in all three pioneer bands (700 MHz, 3.5 GHz, 26 GHz).
According to the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) score for each EU member state for the three pioneer bands, Finland, Germany, and Greece have performed far better compared to the other countries of the bloc.
